HEREFORD FC have this evening confirmed they have signed Dean Lean, Nathan Hughes and Aaron Birch.

Lee and Birch are midfielders, while Hughes is a striker who scored the winning goal against FC United of Manchester in Hereford's first game at Edgar Street.

The signings brings Hereford manager Peter Beadle's squad up to 18 players, which include Carlos Moreira and Tom Gameson from United in the Community.

“I’m delighted to have these three players signed up for the coming season, it brings our squad a little closer to being completed before the season starts," Beadle told Hereford's official website.

“Dean Lee has done well in the brief run out he’s had.

"He had an accident at the start of pre-season which kept him out for a while, but he’s come back, trained well and he’s a player who knows what this league is all about.

“Nathan (Hughes) is a player who has got a lot of potential.

"He’s quite raw at the moment, but he’s certainly one who I think will get better and better as the season progresses. He’s willing to learn and is the type of player who will benefit from our coaching.”

“Aaron is a player who has had a number of years playing a decent standard of football for West Bromwich Albion’s academy.

"Despite not training with us yet, he’s fitted in exceptionally well in the two games he has played in, and is a player who could do extremely well for us. We’re delighted to have someone with his pedigree in the team.”

The Hereford squad is: Harvey Rivers (goalkeeper), Max Kontic-Coveney (defender), Joel Edwards (defender), Will Haines (defender), Tony James (defender), Will Haines (defender), Nathan Summers (defender), Sol Wheatley (midfielder), Dylan Bonella (midfielder), Josh Emery (midfielder), Dean Lee (midfielder), Ben Miller (midfielder), Rob Purdie (midfielder), Pablo Haysham (striker) and John Mills (striker).
