HEREFORD Cathedral Colts A team have lifted the Herefordshire Primary Schools Hardball Cricket trophy for a fifth season in a row - to qualify for the West Midlands regional finals at Coventry in July.
They beat Lucton B and Kingsland to reach the final, where they scored 262-4 from their 12 overs against St. John’s. Matthew Tulacz led the way with 18, Tom Skerrett scored 15 and Harry Sockett chipped in 11.
In reply, HCJS bowled and fielded well to limit St Paul’s to 199-7. Skerrett took 3-5 and Henry Blyth 2-4.
