ALL of Herefordshire’s teams in Worcestershire County Cricket League Division One failed to win the latest round of matches.

Colwall dramatically lost by two wickets to Pershore, Bromyard went down to a losing draw against Droitwich Spa, while Burghill & Tillington were easily beaten at Redditch.

After electing to bat after winning the toss, Colwall posted 205-9 off their 50 overs in their match, with Sam Crichard, Daniel Newby and James Abel all posting 30 plus runs.

Michael Gooch and Crichard then bagged three wickets apiece, but Pershore squeezed over the line by reaching their target with the very last ball.

Bromyard battled their way through their 50 overs against Droitwich, but could not get enough runs as their Worcestershire opponents secured a winning draw. Ash Bullock top scored for Bromyard with 79. Burghill & Tillington, meanwhile lost 52 runs to Redditch; Stefan Hook finishing unbeaten on 67 for Burghill.

In Division 2, Wormelow’s Lee Watkins had a five-for, but it was not enough as the villagers lost by eight runs to Worcester Dominies and Guild. Ross' woes continue as they went down to a 122-run defeat to Himbleton, despite James Tiffen scoring 71, but Bartestree & Lugwardine 3rd thrashed Bredon 3rd by 10 wickets in Division 7 South.
