PEGASUS Juniors manager Marc Jarvis said he was pleased with how the season went for his team despite not gaining any silverware.
"The remit was bringing lads through and to support the first team and I think we have done that," said Jarvis.
"Kyle Panniers, Ru Wood and Aaron Finch have played for every team and most of the reserve team were under 20, especially towards the end of the season.
"It would have been nice to win a cup final, but we'll try again next season."
Pegasus had the majority of the chances against Hinton in the final of the HFL Clubsport Cup last Saturday, but found goalkeeper Jon Hopkins in inspired form.
"Full credit to Hinton, they defend well, and their goalkeeper had a man-of-the-match performance," said Jarvis.
"We played them four times this year and lost to them 1-0 three times, as well as in a penalty shoot-out in another cup.
"They are a bit of a jinx side for us, but they have got a great work ethic, so fair play to them."
