ROSS Rowing Club are celebrating again after further award success.
Just a month after winning three prizes at the Herefordshire Sports Council Awards, they scooped the Sporting Club of the Year accolade at the Hereford and Worcester Sports Partnership awards - a development that represents over 600 sporting clubs across the two counties.
Having been one of the final three nominees - along with Droitwich Rugby Club and Kidderminster's Samurai Judo Club - the club were delighted to hear they had won.
Rowing Club chairman Bryn Hughes, who attended the ceremony with club captain Ian Howell, said: "The Ross club has firmly established itself on the sporting landscape in the region, and I am so delighted that all the hard work by the club members is recognised.
"This award is a total vindication of all the great steps we are taking to build a world class sporting club."
