97% of Hereford United Supporters Trust (HUST) members who voted in a recent ballot (77% of total membership) said they were in favour of a partnership with Hereford FC/

HUST will play a key role in running the club alongside the Hereford FC group, with the board involving at least three HUST board members, giving supporters more power than ever before.

A youth pathway will be created for local players to progress to first team football.

Many local companies are supporting the new club, while the group have received numerous messages from people praising their honest and transparent approach to their proposals.

Four benefactors will pump in money on a strict ‘no return and all profits to the club’ policy.

Many supporters are looking to buy shares.

HUST membership continues to rocket.

More than 120 people have volunteered to offer their services, including former Hereford United employees.

The club's website, herefordfc.co.uk, has received thousands of hits, while the Hereford FC Facebook page has more than 3,200 likes; the @HerefordFC Twitter page is followed by over 4,400 people.

Several national kit suppliers have offered their help, as has a local chaplain.

There is a clamour for season tickets to go on sale at the first possible opportunity.

The Football Association, in a meeting at Wembley last week, said they are keen to help the club achieve the highest level possible for next season. Hereford FC have to have a ground by March 1 in order to play in a league next season. A league should then be granted by May once promotions and relegations have been sorted.
