LADS Club dominated from start to finish to earn a comfortable 3-0 win against Penncroft in West Midlands (Regional) League Division One.

The victory sees the city side move clear of Wrens Nest in sixth place and four points off second placeD St Martins.

Lads Club opened the scoring thanks to an excellent volley from the edge of the box by Kalum Wildig before doubling their advantage through James Fennessy who converted a Scott Turner cross.

The second half was a bit more stop-start as the visitors continued to frustrate the home side.

Dale Richards had a shot blocked following a corner while Jordan Burke and Wildig both saw long range efforts fly wide.

Lads Club scored a decisive third goal through Lewis Fletcher, with the substitute firing home from six yards out.

In a lively end to the game, the visitors thought they had scored a fourth, but saw it ruled out as the referee had already awarded Lads Club a free kick for a two-footed that led to a late red card for a Penncroft defender.

A hat-trick from Jamie Insall helped in-form Bromyard maintain their 12 point lead at the top of the league with a fine 6-1 victory over strugglers Wyrley.

Rich Smith, Shane Shallcross and Josh Weatherby also got on the scoresheet as Bromyard extended their winning run to six games.

However the table-toppers will be without the services of Ashley Banner for for to six weeks with the defender limping off just before half time with sprained ankle ligaments.

Bartestree bounced back from their 7-0 drubbing against Bromyard last weekend, running out 3-1 winners against Shenstone Pathfinders.

The win sees Bartestree move four points clear of the bottom three all of whom have 14 points to their name.
