A FORMER American wrestling star is to take centre stage at a wrestling show in Hereford.
Gangrel will be competing in the main event against Brandon Thomas at the Richmond Club next Saturday.
The former World Wrestling Entertainment star, real name David Heath, was a popular figure among grappling fans for his vampire-like character during the late 1990’s and early 2000’s.
He was also part of the Brood alongside future greats Edge and Christian and temporarily joined the Undertaker’s Ministry of Darkness faction.
Gangrel is the latest big star to hook up with promoters Ironfist Wrestling.
He follows in the footsteps of Total Non-Stop Wrestling's Doug Williams and NXT's Martin Stone, who competed in events last year. Georgia Smith, the daughter of the late Davy Boy Smith, also attended a show in 2013.
Next Saturday's event will also feature Xander Cooper, alongside Melanie Price, face the Lion Kid and Noel Gallagher taking on Mark Haskins. Tickets are £8 for adults, £5 children and £22 for a family, with doors opening from 6.30pm.
