LUCTONIANS will be hosting two rugby games on Boxing Day.
Chairman Simon Whiteman and president David Thomas will both select a veterans side to play each other at 2pm.
And administrator Simon 'Norm' Green-Price and director of rugby Alex Davidson will manage a 'Norm's Nomads' and 'Alex's Apprentices' respectively at 2.15pm.
The latter game is aimed at attracting young players to come back to the club.
"It is tied in with a young apprentice scheme from the RFU that coincides with the 2015 World Cup," said Whiteman.
"We have three young apprentices, Will Brown, Dan Powell and Jonny Waugh, who are co-ordinating a remit for the World Cup.
"It is a good chance to get youngsters back and have a bit of fun.
"The veterans game is also a chance for some people who haven't played rugby for a bit to come on down.
"It will be a social affair and hopefully a bit fun for the spectators as well.
"We hope for a good turnout."
