HOLME Lacy are looking to add more teams at the club.

The current set of players started last season as a group of friends, with the philosophy being to rotate the squad.

However, they are looking to progress further this season with the aim to expand from next season.

"We are hoping to have a second side next year and have a number of players available," said manager Matt Ferriday.

"We are trying to add between five and seven players so we can boost our numbers and try and progress.

"If we can go up this year, that gives us a better chance to progress and have a settled side next year."

Lacy are also in the process of applying for a grant for a new set of changing rooms, something which Ferriday says the club have been crying out for.

"Hopefully that will allow us to have a few more sides and push through some youth teams," he said.

"We've signed some excellent players like Rich Macdonald and Stu Mill,s while we've also added Shaun Thomas.

"This season, we have aspirations of being in the top three in Herefordshire League Division One."
