HEREFORD failed to score for the third time in succession and have slipped uncomfortably close to the relegation zone.
Defeat by the Evo-Stik Southern Premier’s second-placed side leaves Hereford in 17th place in the table, three points above the drop places.
Hereford missed good early chances through Dan Sullivan and Bilal Yafai.
But were made to pay in the 13th minute when Luke Williams was unable to hold on to a header from Max York and Drew Roberts pounced to score.
“It was a frustrating afternoon,” said fan Gerald Powell.
“It’s all about scoring goals and we just can’t seem to do that at the moment.”
“There were a few half chances in the second half but we didn’t really look like taking them.”
