WESTFIELDS Reserves maintained their lead at the top of the Hereford Times Herefordshire League Premier Division and their unbeaten record with a1-0 away victory at Hinton in a hard-fought game.

After back-to-back reverses, Ewyas Harold returned to winning ways, putting Fownhope to the sword 4-0, with a brace from Shaune Smith and one apiece for Rory Worthing and Mark Harrison.

Lads Club Reserves doubled their tally for the season with a 2-1 away victory at Leominster Town, with goals by Leon Cooke and Clive Symonds, with Ashley Griffiths replying for the home team.

Ross Juniors after their recent player shortages, earned their second point of the season holding Orleton Colts 1-1 at home.

There were goals aplenty in Division One, Ledbury Colts maintaining their unbeaten record by overcoming Hinton Reserves by 6-1.

Bromyard, also undefeated so far, moved into second with a hard-earned 2-1 victory over Wellington Colts. The consolation goal came from Nick Britton.

Holme Lacy are the only team in the division with a 100% record, their latest victory being 3-1 away to Fownhope Reserves.

Brimfield, whose last game ended as an 8-5 defeat in the HFA Junior Cup, this week reversed their fortunes by beating Ewyas Harold Reserves 10-4. This about turn earns them the Hereford Times Performance of the Week award.

Near neighbours Woofferton also had their shooting boots on, raining in seven goals without reply at Bartestree.

Division Two leaders Kingstone Harriers remain at the top despite losing 5-2 at Sinkums who moved on to their shoulders.

The other Kingstone side, Rovers, moved into third overcoming Civil Service 3-2.

Tenbury Town and Hereford City both recorded their first victory of the season, Town winning 5-1 away at Weobley and City beating Kington Town Reserves 3-1.

Dore Valley lead the way in Division Three, maintaining their 100% record with a 5-0 away win over Weston. They are neck and neck with Tupsley who recorded a 4-2 away win at Shobdon.

In the battle of the new boys, Belmont Wanderers ran out 4-0 winners over Northwood.

At the bottom, Malvern Vale's woes continued losing 13-0 away at Orleton Colts Reserves.
