4:40pm

Five minutes from the end, Onyeike cracks home his second goal in successive matches to give some small consolation.

4:24pm

Two minutes later, Poulton completes his hat-trick.

The Burnham skipper’s first effort hits the bar but he pounces to score when Lockheart-Adams gets the ball back across goal.

4:22pm

On 67 minutes, there’s an extraordinary miss from Onyeike who is virtually standing on the goalline to meet a Roberts cross yet lifts the ball over.

4:18pm

The fourth goal arrives on 62 minutes.

A misplaced pass by Yafai gives O’Regan the chance to break away on the right and his cross is headed in by Lockheart-Adams.

4:14pm

The action, while not of a very high quality, is end-to-end and Griffiths sends a looping header just past the angle.

4:12pm

It’s Williams’ turn to make a diving save on 58 minutes, turning away a power-drive by Kebamab.

4:11pm

A sliced clearance by Williams puts the Hereford goal under threat again on 56 minutes but Lockheart-Adams’ overhead effort is bundled away by the Hereford defence.

4:09pm

Burnham are swiftly back on the attack and a powerful shot from O’Regan just clears the bar.

But Haslet has to dive to make a save when Roberts’ shot takes a deflection.

The corner is partly cleared and Griffiths’ long throw, which follows, draws a foul by a Hereford player.

4:04pm

Griffiths gets away on the left and crosses deep to the far post where Vetier’s volley shaves the woodwork as he drives his shot back across goal.

4:02pm

When Hereford try to respond, Aboubakar Kone lifts a shot high over.

4:01pm

Burnham make a strong start to the second half and Williams can only block a shot from Nicke Kemabab out for a corner.

3:46pm

On the stroke of half-time, Hereford almost get another goal back. Roberts sends Kone away and his shot runs almost along the goal-line but the angle is too tight for Yafai to force it home.

3:41pm

Hereford are gifted a goal on 41 minutes when Onyeike sends in a cross from the right and Williamson, in attempting to clear, slices the ball into his own net off a post.

3:33pm

With Burnham in control, there’s a third goal on 31 minutes.

Bilal Yafai brings down Melchi Williamson on the edge of the area with no danger threatening.

Poulton drives home the penalty.

3:27pm

On 27 minutes, its’a second goal for the opposition when Obi Onyeike’s half-clearance only goes as far as Poulton who lashes in a left-foot shot from 10 yards.

3:21pm

Hereford are unlucky on 19 minutes when Bilal Yafai charges through and his effort loops into the air off a defender, strikes the bar and lands in the arms of goalkeeper Brendan Haslet.

But slack defending is immediately punished as Tom O’Regan calmly waits for his chance before strike a left-foot shot past Williams.

3:17pm

Hereford go back on to the attack and Bobes-Gilroy slices a shot yards wide.

3:15pm

Burnham win a corner on 14 minutes. Nathan Poulton’s cross comes to nothing.

3:11pm

It’s scrappy stuff in the early stages although Hereford have the better of possession.

Burnham win a free-kick 25 yards out on 10 minutes but Romaine Walker’s shot hits the defensive wall.

3:02pm

Hereford make a lively start with a run by Steve Vetier, one of the those recalled, ending with a left-foot shot which swerves wide.

2:51pm

NINETY year to the day since their first game, Hereford United line up against Burnham in what could yet prove to be their final match, with a winding-up hearing on Monday.

Manager Jon Taylor makes seven changes after the home defeat by Redditch last Monday.

Among those included is Leroy Griffiths, a veteran of the non-league circuit who is dual-registered with Grays Athletic.

I see Tommy Agombar was on the pitch at half time. Thought the FA had told him he could no longer be involved with the club? Maybe he came back to pick up the two advisors he left behind, or is he taking the FA for the mugs they appear to be?

So the total gate was 486..it might be worth considering HUFC as a charity because at this end of the football ladder the numbers don't stack up! It's got to be a new club, new start and new ground in the loyal fans hands. Reality check sadly as any new deal now for HUFC has got to be paid for and the ground looks vulnerable. We should all feel for those people who have time and time again emptied their pockets to try and keep things going.
