PEGASUS gained their second win in three West Midlands League Premier Division games with a 4-2 win over Bewdley.

But Wellington suffered their first defeat of the season when they were beaten 4-2 at home by Dudley Sports.

Pegasus bounced back after their midweek FA Cup exit with a convincing win which saw Anthony Robbins (pen), Chris Mortlock, Kiea Cowley and Kane Kahaki all on target.

Wellington, who had won both of their first two league games as well as progressing in the FA Cup, struggled to come to terms with Dudley's pacy front pairing and fell behind after 15 minutes.

Ben Fischer hit back to level the scores but an injury to goalkeeper Dan Mancui at the end of the first period changed the game.

The Romanian was at fault for two goals just before the break and then had to be taken to hospital.

Sam Archer-Plane took his place between the posts but Sports added a fourth goal within five minutes of the restart.

A Wellington revival saw Gareth Thomas combine with Paul Jones before pulling a goal back but there was to be no further consolation.
