LEOMINSTER Bowling Club sistersTracey Powell and Linda Smith have regained the National Pairs Championship 12 years after their previous success.
The pair carried off the title by beating England internationals Natalie Melmore and Sophie Tolchard, from Devon, 18-15 in the final at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa.
They had previously beaten a pair from Banbury in the semi-final.
Smith and Powell will represent England in the 2015 British Isles Women’s Pairs competition, also to be held in Royal Leamington Spa.
