HEREFORD United directors John Edwards and Elke Thuerlings say the club has a future.
United's creditors rejected a CVA proposal to repay money over a three-year period on Thursday.
And insolvency practitioner Marc Landsman told United’s shareholders on Friday he expected the club to be in compulsory liquidation on September 1.
But Edwards said this morning: “Initially, we said that we would not sell season tickets or approach sponsors until we knew that we had a product to sell.
“After meeting with investors over the weekend, we are now 100% certain that we have a product to sell which is why we are selling season tickets and approaching sponsors.”
