HEREFORDSHIRE go into their final Unicorns Championship clash with Wales at Brockhampton with an eye on their first Western Division title for 13 years.

The county side are currently in third place in the table, four points behind leaders Cheshire and two behind second-placed Wiltshire.

Herefordshire have made three changes for the three-day clash with Wales.

Callum Stewart returns to the side in place of Brockhampton colleague Jamie McIlroy, whose club skipper Ben Stebbings is back in place of Ed Pollock.

David Ball comes back into the middle-order in place of Joe Dodd, with opening batsman Alex Phillips taking over the wicket-keeping duties.

Meanwhile Cheshire are taking on basement-club Oxfordshire at Nantwich and Herefordshire may be left to regret their early-season misfortune when bad weather curtailed their match against the leaders and left them one wicket short of a victory which could have radically changed the look of the table.

Herefordshire: Dave Exall (capt), Liam Gwynne, Alex Phillips, Nitesh Patgel, Brad Wadlan, Ben Stebbings, David Ball, Aqsab Ali, Will Barrett, Callum Stewart, Dan Conway.
