MAJORITY shareholder Tommy Agombar will not be at Hereford United fans’ forum tomorrow night, says chairman Andy Lonsdale.

But Lonsdale says he will be joined by directors Elke Thuerlings and John Edwards; manager Jon Taylor and assistant-boss Neil Phelps.

“Tommy won’t be there – he will be coming up on Saturday,” said Lonsdale.

“We don’t want to talk about the past – we don’t want to talk about David Keyte or Graham Turner.

“We want a civilised discussion which will focus on things going forward and talking about the future and how we are going to make this club sustainable.”

The meeting takes place at 7pm at Hereford United’s Starlite Rooms. Lonsdale said he didn't know who would be chairing it.

Lonsdale says he is delighted the club has finally been granted a safety certificate for Saturday’s home match against St Neots Town.

“I have to take my hat off to the local authority – they have been brilliant and the firm we have brought in to help us to get the safety certificate have done a first-class job,” said Lonsdale.

“In hindsight, we would have brought them in sooner – but hindsight is a wonderful thing.”

He added: “We are here for one thing and one thing only – and that is the football.”
