BROMYARD remain bottom of Worcestershire League Division One after a 105 run defeat at the hands of Belbroughton at Flaggoners Green.

This result means they still have not won this season and captain and club chairman Ashley Bullock is disappointed to have lost again.

He said: “Obviously it is a very bad result for us and we’re pretty disappointed."

The hosts had bowled their opponents out for just 182 with Josh Tongue taking 4-36 and overseas paceman Ahmed Jamal taking 4-53.

Bullock said: “We did well in the field and to bowl them out for that score was a good effort.”

Bullock himself opened the batting and was bowled first ball for a golden duck. After that, no-one was able to steady the ship as they were bowled out for just 78 inside 24 overs.

He said: “We haven’t got too many more players we can bring in - maybe we may have to look at players in the second-team.

“Other than that, it is about trying to get the confidence going as see where we go from there.”
