FORMER Banbury United assistant manager John Taylor will be in Hereford United’s hot-seat for Sunday’s friendly against a team from 1st Battalion, The Rifles.

Taylor is helping to coach United’s triallists with football agent Mark Ellis at Victoria Park.

The match starts at 3pm and entry is £3 with all proceeds going to Help for Heroes, confirmed United’s new press officer Laura Phelps.

The family stand and Meadow End will be open on the day, Phelps confirmed.

The debts owed to Hereford United's playing staff and management from last season still remain unpaid despite promises from the club.

I for one will not be watching this cynical exercise.

I urge all Herefordians to boycott this (and future games)

I shall of course be donating my "entrance fee" and beer money to HTH!

Ditto. Can't wait to return when the club comes back to the fans, until then, no chance. Will donate £10 to HFH
