GOODRICH and Garnons are battling it out at the top of Division One of the GB Liners Marches after both enjoyed crushing wins.

Luctonians must quickly have been ruing their decision to bat first at Mortimer Park as the Goodrich seamers got to work.

The home side subsided to 39-7 in the face of some fine bowling from James O'Brien (5-28) and Mark Bradford (2-23).

A mini-revival took the final score to 83 before Andrew Brown (2-12) picked up the last two wickets.

The Luctonians attack was unable to extract the same level of assistance as Goodrich cruised to a nine-wicket success with Rory Jackson battering nine fours and a six in his 50.

Tom Price (65), Clive Scott (37) and skipper James Debenham were all in the runs for Garnons as they thumped Dales by 150 runs.

Chris Chadd (5-46) bowled well for Dales but his efforts were surpassed by James Bolton, who took 5-19 as the Leominster club were shot out for just 63.

Sam Alford struck 74 as Kington were 22-run winners over Talgarth, for whom Huw Griffiths hit 71.

And Sam Charles (66 not out) was also in form with the bat for Brockhampton 3rd who saw off basement club Hay by 90 runs.

In Division Two, veteran Maurice Embrey (5-30) collected a five-wicket haul as Ledbury, for whom Matt Ehrlich (113) hit a century, beat Weobley by 51 runs.
