FORMER Banbury United assistant manager Jon Taylor is working as a consultant at Hereford United.
Paul Davis is also working with consultant Mark Ellis to bring in players for trials at Victoria Park.
Video analyst Neil Phelps, from Hereford, who did some work with United during Martin Foyle’s reign, is filming the trials.
Ellis said he hoped Phelps could do some coaching and look after a possible new women's team.
“I have never failed at anything – never,” said Ellis, who is also a football agent with Crystalsportsmanagement based in Hornchurch.
“I am a consultant and whether it’s extended, I will do my job to the best of my ability.
“I am 110 per cent working for Hereford and I have just come back from Nigeria and two weeks before that I was in Russia.
“I am here in Hereford for the whole of June and July.”
