SIX members of Hereford Dynamix Trampoline Club helped the West Midlands Region to second place in the inaugural trampoline regional finals at the Westpoint Arena, Exeter.

Jazmine O’Leary (2nd), Lizzie Harding (1st), Jemma Morgan (4th), Anna Inglis (1st), Catherine Sheridan (3rd) and Lucy Griffin (6th) fought off tough competition at the qualifying rounds earlier in the year to get selected for the regional squad.

The Dynamix girls scooped four medals including two gold and, overall, the West Midlands Region finished second, just behind the team from the South West.

“I am incredibly proud of the girls today," said Dynamix head coach Sam Board. "They have worked exceptionally hard to get into the regional squad team and that hard work has definitely paid off today.

“We are so lucky to have six competitors in this competition. We often compete at a regional level but to come to an event that includes the whole country and come away with so many medals is a real testament to the ability and dedication of these six girls.

"Thanks to all the girls that have taken part, the parents for their support and the fabulous coaches – a great team effort and something for us all to be proud of."
