PETER Beadle - who saved Hereford United from relegation last season - has been appointed as the new head coach of Sutton United.
On Wednesday, Bulls chairman David Keyte told the Hereford Times that Beadle was very much in the frame for the Hereford job and had recommended him to the club's potential new investors.
But Conference South side Sutton United have this afternoon announced that Beadle has joined the club as head coach and will work alongside their manager Paul Doswell.
He will take up the post on July 1.
''I'm delighted to have been able to appoint Peter," Doswell told Sutton United's official club website.
"He's been a friend of mine for over ten years now and did an excellent job with Hereford last season.
"He's a UEFA 'A' coach and he's looking forward to teaming up with me, Micky Stephens and Jamie Lawrence and helping us to success next season.''
