DIEHARD Hereford United fan Ian Whale will be putting his foot down to raise vital funds for the Bulls.

Whale will be taking part in a 1,100 mile motorcycle ride from May 28-31.

He will be visiting every Premier League ground armed with a United shirt that he hopes will be signed by someone at each club.

Whale then plans to auction the shirt off with proceeds going to the Bulls' fighting fund.

"Being born and bred in the city, Hereford United has always been a special club for me," said Whale, who lives in Holmer.

"The club is an integral part of the city and it has given Herefordians many memories over the years.

"I hope that this ride will go some way towards the Bulls' cause."

Whale is hoping that local businesses and petrol stations can help with his fuel costs during the journey.

If you can help, you can call him on 07923 328816 or email Lee Symonds at club@herefordunited.co.uk

Meanwhile, Bulls fans Jack James and Kristina Guntulyte will be walking the Miners Trace on Mount Snowdon next month to raise money for the Hereford United Supporters Trust (HUST).

The aim of the trek on Sunday, June 29 will be to increase the shareholding of HUST at the club and to give supporters "a bigger voice".

The pair will also make a contribution to the United in the Community scheme towards the away travel of the youth team next season after HUST took over the running of it last term, as well as making a donation to their charity, the Adam Stansfield Foundation.
