DAVE Prosser continued his winning run with the only bag limit of six fish at the Hereford Fly Fishing Club’s trip to Farmoor Reservoir in Oxfordshire.
Prosser’s bag weighed in at 14lb and the second place went to Jon Stannard with four fish for 8lb 8oz.
Biggest fish was a 3lb 4oz rainbow caught by Ken Milliken.
This was a boat trip and the best location, on a slightly windy and drizzly day, was in the calm water off the upwind shore where the fish fell to static buzzers on a sink tip line. The picture shows Dave (left) and Jon with their trophies.
The club welcomes new members who can fish their three lakes as well as taking part in club trips to many fisheries in the region.
Anyone interested in fly fishing and who would like to join the club should contact membership secretary, Bob Jones on 01432 358517.
Club meetings are held at the Three Counties Hotel on Belmont Road, Hereford on the second Monday of each month, normally at 7.30pm for 8pm, and visitors are welcome. Or see the Club’s website at www.herefordflyfishingclub.co.uk
