COLWALL continued their winning start on their return to Division One of the Worcestershire County League when they cruised to a 170-run over Belbroughton.

Bromyard slipped to a 29-run defeat against Worcester Nomads despite a useful all-round performance from overseas player Ahmed Jamal, who followed up his 5-26 with an innings of 34.

Jacob James' unbeaten half-century piloted Burghill & Tillington to a nine-wicket success over Coombs Wood in Division Two.

And, in the same division, returning Australian overseas star Jamie Banfield cracked 97 as Wormelow opened their away programme with a 67-run success at Enville.

Jack Donovan (84) and James Tiffen (67) were in the runs for Ross who chased down Chaddesley Corbett's 233-8 also for the loss of eight wickets in Division Three.

There was a thrilling finish in Division Four, where Bartestree & Lugwardine's trip to Halesowen 3rd ended in a tie, with the sides locked on 134 runs apiece.
