NEW faces will be turning out for Herefordshire County Cricket Club in their opening match of the season.

Ex-Worcestershire batsman Neil Pinner will be making in Herefordshire debut in Sunday’s Unicorns Knock-Out Trophy tie against Staffordshire at Colwall.

The county have signed five new players, with Brockhampton’s Callum Stewart signing a summer contract with Somerset CCC.

Graeme Whiles is a young quick, who is playing for Bromsgrove; Dan Rowe is an-ex Leicestershire and Oxfordshire seam bowler; all-rounder David Ball plays for Dorridge and wicketkeeper Luke Padgett plays for Bath.

Herefordshire County Cricket Club are celebrating a new three-year sponsorship deal with Weston's Cider Stowford Press.

Club Chairman Bobbie Hadley said, "This is fantastic news for the club and the county, especially as Stowford Press is already associated with first class cricket and the ECB. We are looking forward to our first match of the season where the players will proudly be wearing their new kit.”

Most of last season's team will again be available although Charlie Walker, who has been excellent for the county for the last couple of seasons, may not be able to play much three-day cricket due to work commitments.
