HEREFORDSHIRE'S bowls community turned out to force to celebrate the opening of Wellington Bowls Club's brand new green.
The new surface which was funded by a £50,000 grant from Sport England's Inspired Facilities fund and a further £20,000 from club fundraising, was opened by Herefordshire Sport secretary Bryan White in front of almost 100 guests.
"It was a really excellent afternoon and the weather was kind," said club president David Wood.
