LUCTONIANS bounced back from their defeat at Leicester with an important National Two North success against Sheffield Tigers.
 

The Mortimer Park club won 35-28 to move back into eighth place in the table.
 

In Midlands One West, Hereford beat Burton 24-18 to keep their hopes of a play-off spot firmly alive.
 

Bromyard were beat 20-10 at home by Bishops Castle in Midlands Four West (North) but, despite not playing, it was a good afternoon for Greyhound with Warley battered 92-3 at home by leaders Harborne.
 

Greyhound are now two points ahead of Warley and have two games in hand over the West Midlands side.
 

Ross kept their prospects of a top-four finish alive with a 13-10 home win over Cotham Park.
 

Westfields improved their Midland Alliance position to 14th when they won 3-0 at second-from-bottom Gornal Athletic.
 

Pegasus are up to third in the West Midlands League Premier Division after a 4-2 win at Ellesmere Rangers when Chris Mortlock, Cory Hyde, Mark Davies and Kane Kahaki were on target.
 

Wellington re-established their hold on ninth place with a 2-0 win at Smethwick Rangers but Bromyard Town were battered 5-1 at home by Wolverhampton Casuals.
 

In Division One, Bartestree held on to second place but only emerged with a 1-0 win after a battle at basement club Wolverhampton United.
 

Ledbury Town were beaten 3-0 at home by Shestone Pathfinders while Lads Club were also beaten, 3-1 at home by Penncroft.
