LONG-serving member Graham Powell collected Herefordshire Motor Club's award for overall best member at their annual presentation evening at the Three Counties Hotel.

Powell received the award from guest speaker Mike Nicholson, who gave an entertaining speech on his motorsport exploits as a professional rally co-driver, and club president Robert Andrews.

Caroline Wilks claimed second place in the best member award and also collected a trophy for furthering the name of HMC in motorsport while Jim Lewis, who organised the presntation evening, was in third place.

Trophies were presented to Sue Underwood for Best Lady and Pat Pugh for second Lady.

The best junior members were Caitlin Pugh and Lewis Mason, with Lewis also winning the Bengry Rally Championship for his performance on Welsh road rallies. The best new member was Adrian Jackson.
