MILLER Boys edged a 3-2 win over Zeds in a clash at the top of Division 1 of the Hereford Snooker League.

Wayne White and Andy Gray both had breaks of 38 in their frames to take the home side to an early lead.

The third frame saw an outstanding performance from Adrian Kidner who constructed an impressive break of 63 to beat Rob Sheffield.

Ross Hood took the next frame to level the match 2-2. In the final frame, Stuart Roberts proved too strong for Tommy Hanford and secured the victory with a narrow 18-point win.

Andy Bromage was victorious against Neil Greening which saw Broms Boys 3-2 winners over Military B.

Corner Pockets pipped Pot Idols to victory with George Evans beating Scott Davies in the last frame for a 3-2 win.

X-Men pulled out one of their best performances of the season to beat Police A 4-1, Gilley Holland with a break of 29.

Flukey Few were too strong for the Legionaires with Craig Doyle taking the opening frame with a disciplined performance against Phil Lines.

The next frame saw Alec Hoskins losing out to Trevor Davies in a black-ball thriller.

Flukey Few went on to win the next three frames to notch up a 4-1 win.

Q4 Carlton stay top of Division Two with a destructive 4-1 win over NoWhereMen. P Shed Y were pushed all the way in their match against the Herodians but captain Ross Hood kept his head to beat Manu Bonnel and take the 3-2 win.

Shed Load kept their hope of promotion alive with a commanding 4-1 win over Farmers B while 7 Wilders run of good form continued with a 3-2 win over Snooker centre.
