Stan wins Herefordshire Sport sportsman of the year prize for third time

STAN Cantrill has been named Herefordshire Sport's sportsman of the year for the third time.
The veteran judo player, who also won in 2001 and 2009, has been acknowledged for more gold-medal winning performances in 2013.
He won gold at the Eastern European Championships in Slovakia and followed this up with success at the prestigious High Wycombe Open International.
A rule change by the International Olympic Committee to separate judo from wrestling provided a temporary setback as Cantrill could only finish fifth at the European Championships in Paris.
But he quickly bounced back by winning the British Open Championship before travelling to Dubai where he won bronze at the World Masters Championships.
Sportswoman of the Year Morgan Baynham Williams has not yet given up hope of a trip to Rio for the 2016 Olympics.
But the Ross oarswoman acknowledges that it's unlikely she will be selected.
Baynham Williams, 19, was a part of the GB under-23 squad who won GB's first ever medal in eights at the under-23 World Championships last summer.
"I've done some training with the senior squad since but Rio is an unlikely option," she admitted.
She is now a second-year student at Oxford Brookes University and, while still strongly involved with Ross Rowing Club, she has been training with the celebrated Leander Club.
"They have been very welcoming to me and it's excellent place to be," she said. "It's more like home than a club."
This year's young volunteer of the year is football coach and referee Sharleen Watkins, who has also received the HFA woman's referee award for outstanding contribution and performance.
