Defeats for Hereford and Bromyard but Greyhound boost hopes with win

ON another day when fixtures wre severely curtailed by appalling weather, Hereford suffered a setbaclk when they went down 25-15 at Whitchurch in Midlands One West.

Greyhound's hopes of avoiding the drop in Midlands Four West (North) were enhanced when they beat Warley 32-17.

But Bromyard slipped back when they were hammered 38-5 by promotion-chasing Cleobury Mortimer.
