Darlington Mowden Park 54 pts Luctonians 0
LUCTONIANS director of rugby Alex Davidson is looking to have four key players back in contention for the key home National Two North clash with Bromsgrove on Saturday.
"We left Paul Hulland and Adam Clayton out of the trip to Darlington and gave Drew Cheshire an extra week to recover," said the former Birmingham & Solihull forward.
"And Charlie Meredith was not able to travel either.
"But they should all be available for the weekend and Geraint Langdon will also be having a fitness test this week."
Despite the convincing scoreline, Davidson could take plenty of positives from the long journey north to Darlington Mowden Park where the north-east side play at the impressive former home of Darlington FC.
"We had a very young side and their home form is electric," he said.
"But we held them to 0-0 for the first half-hour and first try then came after 13 phases of play, so full credit to them.
"It was 14-0 at half-time but our young players were tired from all the effort that they had put in during the first half."
After playing all of the top three in the last four weeks, Davidson has had a good look at all the divisional promotion contenders.
"Macclesfield impressed me most with their forward domination but, at home, Darlington's backs are very impressive.
"They beat Stourbridge, the other contenders, 38-8 up there a few weeks back.
