TEENAGER Ben Fortey has become one of the youngest players to compile a century break in the Hereford Snooker League.

The 17-year-old was trailing to Pat Tulk by 59 points when he approached the table in the Division Two clash between Q4 Carlton and Ralilway A.

He then smashed in the remaining 12 reds with colours to complete a remarkable break of 118.

Earlier, Glenn Cameran played his best snooker of the season to win the first frame.

The second frame saw Spike Turner potting some amazing shots to edge a narrow victory over John Meredith and level the match.

Fortey's performance seemed to inspire the rest of the team as Carl Williams followed up with with his best performance for a long time and constructed a break of 26 while Mark Mortlock’s solid potting made him a clear winner of his frame and guided his team to a 4-1 win.

Shed Loads stay on the heels of the Leaders with a 5-0 whitewash of NoWhereMen while P Shed Y go third spot with a 4-1 win over Snooker Club.

Miller Boys stay top of Division One after a 4-1 win over Rivals Military B, with Colin Gladwyn stringing some amazing shots together for a fine 36 break.

Rob Sheffield 22 Break helped him edge a win over Jason Plant, whom himself had a break of 22. In the Final frame Stuart Roberts constructed an impressive Break of 75 to beat Jason Gouch. The Police A stand firm in second spot with a 3-2 win over Pot Idols, Gerrad Williams the best Player on the night with a 39 break & 31 Clearance. The Corner Pockets shoot up the table with a 5-0 whitewash of the X-Men.
