British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith's daughter Georgia praises Hereford wrestling show at Richmond Club
THE daughter of the late British Bulldog said that a wrestling show in Hereford last weekend was one of the best she had been to.
Georgia Smith, who is the daughter of the legendary Davey Boy Smith, was the special guest at an Ironfist Wrestling event at the Richmond Club.
“I thought it was awesome, I really liked the quality of it and it had so much passion,” said Georgia.
“I have never been to Hereford before, but the crowd was awesome and they really got into the show.
“I have recently moved to south of Birmingham and was looking for shows nearby.
“The Ironfist one came up and it had a nice cartoon theme to it, which is right up my alley.
“They put so much into it and everything was top notch. It was my third show in the UK and it was really good.”
Georgia, who is also the niece of Bret ‘the Hitman’ Hart and cousin of WWE diva Natalya, was also promoting a petition to get her father inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
“My dad should have been in it a long time ago, but the WWE have their own schedule,” said Georgia.
Ironfist Wrestling organiser Jake Gittens, who wrestles as Jakob Castle, said that the British Bulldog was his childhood hero.
“It was really nice to have Georgia there and she shared stories about her father,” said Jake.
“My match also paid homage to the Hart family when Joey Sanchez locked me in the sharpshooter.”
The next show at the Richmond Club will be on February 8 and will star former TNA Television and X-Division champion Doug Williams.
