Hereford quintet's British Colleges Sport National Championships success celebrated with Wilkinson Sword Trophy visit

FIVE Hereford Sixth Form Colleges helped the West Midlands team take first place at the British Colleges Sport (BCS) National Championships at the University of Bath.
But the quintet of Lucy Stokes (swimming), Laurence Gummerson (swimming), Alex Scholefield (swimming), Matt Lees (squash) and Callum Smith (trampolining) were unable to take part in the closing ceremony which was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
Instead, it was decided that the Wilkinson Sword Trophy would tour the colleges who had contributed to win.
And so this year’s Hereford athletes had a chance to take a close look at the trophy which has been on display at the college.
