Luctonians and Westfields beaten but Hereford win against Kenilworth
LUCTONIANS suffered their third straight defeat in National Two North when they were hammered 29-5 by basement club Sheffield Tigers.
But it was a good day at Wyeside where Hereford continue in contention near the top of Midlands One West after beating Kenilworth 40-17.
Ledbury enjoyed a local derby success in Midlands Three West (South)with a 31-17 success against Evesham.
But it was a bad day for Herefordshire sides in Midlands Four West (North) with Clee Hill beating Bromyard 33-0 and Greyhound beaten 10-5 at home by Tenbury.
Ross, however, continue on the up in Gloucester 2 where they are third after a 37-14 win at Westbury on Severn.
Westfields are still struggling to win at home in the Midlands Alliance and were beaten 5-3 at home by Loughborough University.
But Pegasus Juniors are second in the West Midlands League Premier Division after beating Malvern Town 1-0.
Wellington were held at home 1-1 by Shifnal in the same division.
In Division One, third-placed Bartestree closed orders at the top of the table by beating second-placed Haughmond 3-2.
Lads Club were beaten 3-1 at Gornal Athletic Reserves but Ledbury Town are up to fifth after beating Wem Town 2-1.
