Brimfield manager Duncan Morris eyes tilt at Herefordshire League Division One title next season

BRIMFIELD FC manager Duncan Morris (pictured) believes his side can have a proper crack at the Herefordshire League Division One title next season.
Morris is eyeing up the opposition this term and will be going all-out in the next campaign.
“If we can finish mid-table this season I would be elated and anything above that is a bonus,” he said. “This year, I am assessing the teams and next year I will be pitting my wits against them.”
Morris stills wears his old Woofferton training jacket and wishes his side could have remained part of Woofferton.
“If it hadn’t been for the success of Woofferton Colts we would still be playing under the Woofferton banner,” said Morris. “We still play in the Woofferton kit because we appealed for a sponsor in the summer but, sadly, no-one came forward to help us.”
Morris led Woofferton Colts to the Herefordshire League Division Two title last season. With Woofferton’s first-team in Division One, Morris was faced with a dilemma.
“No two teams from the same club can play in the same division of the Herefordshire League, so I had to set up a new club and new committee.”
