Miller Boys join Zeds at top of Division One of Hereford Snooker League

THE Miller Boys have joined Zeds at the top of Division One of the Hereford Snooker League after a commanding win over Flukey Few.
Andy Gray showed his keen snooker prowess to overcome a huge deficit and win by two points.
The Legionares move up to joint second with a narrow win over Military ‘B’, Trevor Davies securing the victory for the visiting side.
In another close match, Sean Smith’s perseverance paid off with a win over Alan Silcox despite his break of 24.
The Corner Pockets dominated their match over Police ‘A’ - Lee Cartwright, Paul Hoskins and Dave Hall all having convincing wins.
Jordan Hoare’s victory in the last frame took Q4Carlton to the top of Division Two.
Percy Fitzgerald’s breaks of 22 and 21 contributed to his win over talented young Ben Fortey who constructed breaks of 46 and 24.
In a battle between youth and experience, it was experience that came out on top with Railway ‘A’s Bernard Hemming beating Steve Reynolds in the final frame to claim victory.
