HEREFORDSHIRE aces are gearing themselves up for Saturday’s Woodpecker Stages Rally based at Ludlow Racecourse.
County duos Theo Bengry and Les Forsbrook and Roger Matthews and Paul Morris will be among the 120-strong entrants for the annual rally.
This year’s REIS – Get Connected BTRDA Rally Series is the seventh of nine qualifying rounds.
There is a strong ‘Historic’ entry on this year’s Woodpecker, including the usual plethora of Ford Escorts of different shapes and sizes.
The first group of cars, in the up to 1,400cc category, will leave the racecourse from 8.30am on Saturday morning.
Spectators can watch the Woodpecker Stages in Haye Park near Ludlow and in Radnor Forest in Mid Wales.
The rally is organised by Sixty and Worcestershire Motor Club Limited.
