Pegasus Juniors win away at Shifnal Town in West Midlands League Premier Division
1:30pm Wednesday 6th March 2013 in Sport
Shifnal Town 1 Pegasus Juniors 2.
KANE Kahaki and Paul Allam struck to give Pegasus a more comfortable West Midland League Premier Division win than the score-line suggests.
Juniors took the lead in the 43rd minute when Jack Lewis gained possession before slipping a pass to Kahaki who reached the ball before keeper Scott Hoof and poked the ball into the empty net.
Shifnal wasted possession as the second half got underway with Mark Davies, Josh Wildig and Jamie Cuthbertson prominent in the Juniors defence.
Eleven minutes from time, Andy Mowen and Tom worked an opening for Allam who raced to the angle of the penalty area before rolling the ball past Hoof for his fourth goal in four games.
Town gained their consolation in the 86th minute after a fine block from keeper Bryn Watkins; the ball was returned to Dan Martin who scored from the edge of the penalty area.
Kahaki fired against a post from the last move of the game.
