Blyth Town win grant from Budweiser Club Futures programme

PEGASUS Juniors have missed out on a £100,000 grant from the Budweiser Club Futures programme.

The Hereford side had already secured £50,000, but were hoping to land the big prize by coming out in a poll involving the other seven £50-winning teams.

However, Budweiser have announced that Northern Alliance Premier side Blyth Town had scooped the most votes and had won the competition.

It is understood that Pegasus finished third in the contest.
