LUCTONIANS have three players in the North Midlands Under-20 squad for a vital group match against Gloucestershire at Cinderford on Sunday (February 24).

Alex Rumsey, Jake Newman and Henry Monkley are in the squad.

Ledbury’s Ben Thompson is also in the squad for the North Midlands, who will be guaranteed a place in the national quarter-finals if they can take two points from Sunday’s match, which kicks off at 2.15pm.

However, a losing bonus point might prove sufficient for the North Midlands to take top spot.
