HEREFORDSHIRE referee Chris Smith says he is hoping to blow the whistle at the next level.
Smith wants to move up the refereeing ladder to level three. “The markings have finished for me and I will find out in April whether I’ve been successful,” he said.
“It will soon be the time when I am watching my letterbox and waiting for the letter to arrive.”
Smith was the man in the middle at Delahay Meadow last Saturday and had an impressive afternoon.
“Kevin Morris is a level three referee and Herefordshire definitely needs another one,” he said.
“There are a few of us from the county who are hoping to make that level.”
