HEREFORD Rugby Club sealed a 41-24 win at basement boys Camp Hill in Midlands One West.
The Wyesiders recorded their fifth successive victory.
Ledbury have slipped back into the relegation zone in Midlands Three West (South) after a 35-12 reverse at leaders Old Coventrians.
But Ross have moved back into the top four in Gloucester after winning 19-10 at, now, fifth-placed Gloucester All Blues.
Craig Jones was again on target for Westfields in a 1-0 Midland Alliance win at Coleshill Town.
Pegasus Juniors were beaten 2-1 at home by Wolverhampton Sporting Community in the West Midlands League Premier Division.
And it was Wolverhampton 2 Herefordshire 0 as Wolves Casuals also gained a 2-1 success at Wellington.
Bromyard, however, were the county’s shining light in the division, gaining a 1-0 success over sixth-placed Dudley Town.
Division One leader Bilston Town proved too hot for Leominster Town to handle and left Briarwood with a 5-0 success.
But the county has a one-two at the top of Division Two with leaders Ledbury Town, who won 2-1 at Sikh Hunters, joined in the leading positions by Bartestree, 5-2 winners at Mahal Reserves.
The division’s longest unbeaten run was, however, brought to a close when Lads Club suffered a 2-0 home reverse against Malvern Rangers.
Leominster Hockey Club kept up their promotion challenge in Conference North of the Davis Wood League with a 1-0 home success against Yate.
