Westside’s 44-34 defeat by Sutton Town has cost them second place in Division Two of the West Midlands League.
Sutton made a strong start to lead 14-7 at the end of the first quarter but Westside pulled back to within two points at halfway.
The Birmingham-based side capitalised, however, on the reshuffle caused by an injury to Aimee Phillips and re-established their advantage over the remaining two quarters.
Emily Davies gave a player-of-the-match performance but Westside slipped back to third place.
