Luctonians back to winning ways against Hull and Hereford beat Stoke-on-Trent

LUCTONIANS eased back to winning ways in National Two North with a 48-32 home win over Hull to complete a double over the Yorkshiremen.

And it was a good afternoon for Hereford with the Wyesiders winning 15-13 at Stoke-on-Trent in Midlands One West.

Ledbury will hope for signs of a New Year revival after a useful point from a 13-13 home draw with Cheltenham North.

But Bromyard suffered a disappointment in their local derby with Tenbury when they were narrowly beaten 12-10.

Ross are still in contention with the leading pack in Gloucester 2 after an 11-3 home win over basement side Bredon Star.

Westfields suffered a disappointment, going down 2-0 at home in the Midland Alliance to Gornal Athletic.

But there was better news for Pegasus Juniors who go seventh in the West Midlands League Premier Division after notching a 2-1 home win over Bewdley Town with goals from Sam Hunt and Chris Mortlock.

Wellington also picked up a point from a 2-2 draw at Dudley Sports where Dale Withers and Paul Jones were on target.

Bromyard Town battled away at leaders Black Country Rangers but were eventually beaten 4-2.

In Division Two, Bartestree were beaten 3-1 at Malvern Rangers but Ledbury Town stay second after a 4-0 home success against Wrens Nest.

Lads Club will have done their hopes of staging a late run to promotion no harm either with a 3-2 win at Tenbury United.
