Luctonians Rugby Club confident of playing as wet weather disrupts Herefordshire sporting programme

THE wet weather has affected this weekend’s sporting programme for Herefordshire teams.
Westfields’ trip to play Continental Star in the Midland Alliance has already been postponed.
Sinkums’ Herefordshire League Premier Division clash with Mercia Athletic has also fallen foul of a waterlogged pitch at Widemarsh Common.
Bromyard Rugby Club skipper Scott Holloway said their home match against Telford Hornets would be subject to a pitch inspection tomorrow morning. At present, he said, the pitch was unplayable.
But Luctonians director of rugby Alex Davidson is confident their National League Two North clash against his old club, Birmingham and Solihull, at Mortimer Park will beat the wet weather.
